About Me
Hi, I’m Cassie — 33, English, and completely entangled with Cuba.
My love affair with the island started back in 2016. I was captivated by its contradictions, its energy, and its people, and I quickly became hooked on trying to uncover the real Cuba — a journey that’s never straightforward.
The full story is a long, winding one (best told over a bottle of rum in Havana), but the short version is this: somewhere along the way, I fell in love with both the island and a Cuban cowboy.
Fast forward to today, and life is split between Bath in the UK and Viñales in Cuba — two very different, very special places I now call home.
Over the years, I’ve built deep relationships across the island with drivers, guides, accommodation hosts, chefs, farmers, and small business owners. Now, I use those connections (and plenty of lived experience) to help travellers like you explore Cuba safely, authentically, and without the stress of trying to piece it all together alone.
